Construction work on 12 cyclone shelters completed  

 The construction work on 12 cyclone shelter-cum-educational institutions has mostly been completed at a cost of about Tk 60 crores in Bhola Sadar upazila in the current year. Sources said the government is implementing the project with the financial assistance of Islamic Development Bank. Under the project, 12 primary schools and madrasas have been constructed in Bhola Sadar.  When contacted, officials of the contraction firm said the construction of the cyclone shelters is nearing completion. They expected that remaining work will be completed within one month. Pran Gopal Dey, district education officer of Bhola, said after completion of the construction work on these three-storey buildings, students will get an ideal environment for learning.
