Bangladesh had to strive hard to beat Oman 5-4 in their second match of the 8th Men’s Junior Asia Cup Hockey yesterday at the Wisma Bella Hockey Stadium in Kuantam, Malaysia. It was Bangladesh’s first win in the tournament after going down to Pakistan 1-3 in the opener. They will play their next match against South Korea on November 17, according to a message received in Dhaka. As many as six goals were scored in the first half in this closely contested match. Bangladesh led the first half 4-2.

Bangladesh batsmen yet again came up with a reckless batting show to prove that they are yet to learn the art of the T20 batting. In an otherwise a pretty flat surface, they couldn’t improvise them…
