Reckless batting restricts Tigers to push run

Bangladesh batsmen yet again came up with a reckless batting show to prove that they are yet to learn the art of the T20 batting. In an otherwise a pretty flat surface, they couldn’t improvise them when it mattered most. Bangladesh were restricted to 135 for nine in their allotted 20 overs in the second match of the Twenty20 series The hosts though won the first match, the batting was so lackluster that at one phase., prospect was raised to be defeated in the match. Bangladesh eventually lost six wickets to overhaul the target of 132 and it needed Mashrafe Bin Mortaza’s batting to bail the side out of danger. Mashrafe was visibly unhappy by the way his batsmen batted to gun down the paltry target. He then warned his side and asked to bat according to the situation in the wake of his batsmen’s tendency to chase every delivery. “You shouldn’t chase every delivery, only because of it is T20. This format demands calculative risk and those who could do this, they become successful. But we always hurried the things to let us down. We need to play according to the situation. When it is needed to go for shots, we have to go with uncluttered mind and when it is the matter to be restrained, we have to be clam,” that’s what Mashrafe said after the first T20.
But his batsmen seemed to have paid no attention to this. They were clueless completely and it seemed that they didn’t know when to attack and when to restrain. When it was the matter to be aggressive, they remained cool and needlessly went for shots when it was time to stick to the wicket. Most importantly, no batsmen could improvise the shot when Zimbabwe bowlers were bowling in disciplined manner and that created the pressure to accelerate the scoreboard.
After Mashrafe  Bin Mortaza won the toss and elected to bat first, Tamim freed himself by playing some gorgeous shots but couldn’t survive a longer period. He was dismissed on 21 off 14, after trying to clear the rope. Following his dismissal, it was all about clueless batting.
Anamul Haque Bijoy tried his best to improvise the shots during the fielding restriction but simply he was unable to do that. He ate up balls after balls to create pressure on the other end. Kayes back in this format since 2011, replacing Liton Das, was victimised by a brilliant catch of Sean Williams.
Mushfiqur Rahim (9), the most dependable batsman at the moment, chased everything that came on his way and finally tried to whack a delivery that spun considerably. His sweep shot landed at the safe hand of Williams.
Sabbir Rahman who is believed to be a good T20 batsman, was trapped lbw after playing a pre-determined sweep that indicated, he couldn’t judge the condition of the match. Nasir Hossain dragged a slower on to his stump while Mahmudullah played an injudicious shot to cause his dismissal. Bijoy kept his wicket but never could improvise the things when it mattered most and finally was trapped run out in the last over on 47. He hit just three boundaries in his 51 balls knock which evidenced the things that how struggle he did. Bangladesh bowlers may win the match for the side but the batting would remain a worry for the team who is trying to be forced to be reckoned with in this format.
