Three-day ‘Pitha Uthsav’ begins

A three-day long Pitha Uthsav (cake festival) began in the city’s Swaraswati Girls' School field yesterday with a festive mood. National Rabindra Sangeet Sanmiloni Parishad, Barishal unit, organised the programme to mark Poush Mela.  About 103 items of cake including, Vapa, Kuli, Muli, Chitoi, Muithya, Saj, Caxhi-cucha, Chui, Duithya, Bora were displayed at 30 stalls of this festival.
