BCL organises blood donation campaign

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) yesterday organised a voluntary blood donation campaign on the Dhaka University (DU) campus here marking its 72nd founding anniversary. A total of 200 leaders and activists of BCL donated blood voluntarily at the campaign in front of Aparajeyo Bangla on the campus yesterday morning. All the collected bloods were handed over to the blood donation organisations of different hospitals, said General Secretary of BCL Lekhak Bhattacharya.  “Like previous years, we organised this campaign in a bid to help the people who have to go door to door and suffers a lot in collecting blood when they need it”, Lekhak added.
