President offers prayer at two shrines

President M Abdul Hamid today offered ‘ziarat’ at the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and Hazrat Shah Paran (RA) here yesterday. The president, who earlier arrived here on daylong visit to attend the third convocation of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), first went to two shrines in the divisional city. The head of the state visited the mazar of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) at about 1:20 pm and subsequently at the mazar of Hazrat Shah Paran (RA) at about 1:54 pm. Abdul Hamid spent some time at two shrines by offering fateha and munajat. Political leaders and high officials of local administration and secretaries concerned to the president accompanied him there.
