Bangla Academy to recall Palli Kabi Jasimuddin today

Recalling poet Jasimuddin popularly known as ‘Palli Kabi’ (folk poet) on the occasion of 117th birth anniversary--which was observed on January 1, Bangla Academy has organised a commemorate programme today at 11am at Kabi Shamsur Rahman Seminar Hall at Bangla Academy in the capital.

Professor Biswajit Ghosh, vice-chancellor of Rabindra University, Bangladesh will be present as main discussant. Presided over by National Professor Anisuzzaman,  Bangla Academy Director General Habibullah Siraji will deliver welcome speech at the event.
