14-year old gang-raped in Savar

A 14-year old female garment worker was gang-raped by miscreants at Sadhapur area in the city on Friday night, reports UNB. Family members of the victim said several youths, including Kalam and Jibon of the area, picked up the 14-year-old girl, who used to work at a garment factory at Namabazar area, on her way to home from her workplace on Friday night. The rowdy youths took her into a pickup van and went to banana grove of the area where they raped her one by one and fled the scene leaving her there. Being informed, police rescued the girl from the orchard on Saturday afternoon and sent her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
