Medical and dental college demanded in C'nawabganj

A demand for establishment of a government medical and dental college in the district was reitereted by its movers at an opinion exchange meeting with the media men here yesterday.
The Government Medical and Dental College Establishment Movement Committee arranged the meeting in the association with Chapainawabganj Eye Hospital at the Dr Ayaz Uddin auditorium of the hospital.
It was held with the convener of the committee and vice chairman of the Chapainawabganj district unit of Jatya Andhya Kallyan Samity Professor Sultana Razia in the chair.
The speakers urged the government to take measures to establish the medical and dental college like those that are already set up in Satkhira, Feni, Sirajganj, Cox's Bazar and Brahmanbaria districts.
 Among others, Principal Saidur Rahman, Engineer AKM Khademul Islam, Shafiqul Alam Bhota, Nedaul Islam, Rafiq Hasan Bablu and Anwar Hossain Dilu, were present.
