Road crashes kill two in Mymensingh

Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in Bhaluka and Phulbaria upazila yesterday morning.
The victims were identified as Kahirul Hasan, 16, helper of a human hauler; and Ambia Begum, 35, a garment worker.
Police said Khairul died on the spot when a brick-laden human hauler overturned at Achim Hurbari area in Phulbaria at around 11.00 am.
Meanwhile, one Ambia was killed when a Mymensingh-bound truck crashed her at Hazir Bazaar on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Bhaluka at around 7.00 am.
Police rushed to the spots, recovered the bodies and sent them to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Separate cases have been filed.
