Allahor Dal member arrested

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-13) arrested a presumed active member of banned militant organisation Allahor Dal from Madhya Babu Khan area in the metropolis on Friday afternoon.
On a tip off, a special operational team of RAB-13 raided the area and arrested the militant red-handed with jihadi book and leaflets, said a press release issued here yesterday by Media Officer of RAB-13 Major Galib Muhammad Natikur Rahman.
The arrested member of the banned militant outfit Allahor Dal is Md.
Fazlul Haque Shahjada, son of late Shahidar Rahman of Madhya Babu Khan area in the city under Kotwali Thana of Rangpur Metropolitan Police.
During interrogation, the arrested militant admitted that he had been regularly attending secret meetings, giving tolls and playing an important role in enlisting new members for the banned militant organisation for a long time.
After filing a case against the arrested man, the elite force handed him over to Kotwali Thana of Rangpur Metropolitan Police yesterday, the release said, adding that investigation continues to nab absconding members of the banned organisation.
