Three people died and another fell sick after taking excessive liquor at Bhabanipur village in Keshabpur upazila yesterday, reports UNB. The deceased were identified as Nizamuddin, 55, of Bhogoti village, Sirajul Islam, 50, of Madhyakul village, and Shubal Adhikari, 58, of Ramchandrapur village in Keshabpur upazila. Officer-in-Charge of Keshabpur police station Mahtab Uddin said four people—Nizam, Sirajul, Subol and Khasa—fell ill after galloping excessive liquor at a secret place at Bhabanipur village around 12:30am. Nizam was rushed to Jessore 250-bed General Hospital where he died around 4:30am. Shubal and Sirajul were taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital where they died in the afternoon while Khasa, 45, of Madhyakul village, was undergoing treatment at Keshabpur Upazila Health Complex, said the OC.
