Woman hacked to death

A woman was hacked to death by unknown criminals in Saraishabari upazila of Jamalpur on Friday night.
The victim was Hasna Begum, wife of Abdul Majid at village Bhatara Dakkhinpara in the upazila. According to police sources, unknown criminals hacked the woman and threw her body beside a road near her home at around 11:30 pm.
Local people took the critically wounded woman her to Sarishabari health complex where the attending doctors declared her dead. Police sources said the cause of the murder could not be known immediately.
A case has been registered with Sarishabari police station.
