Football Federation Australia (FFA) changed their arrival schedule in Bangladesh while they will now land here on November 16 at 6.00pm. Earlier the Socceroos were due to reach Dhaka yesterday night.
The FFA ensured the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) yesterday morning that they changed their departure and arrival schedule.
BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag told the reporters yesterday, “First of all I like to confirm you that our last home match of the World Cup Qualifying round between Bangladesh and Australia will take place in Dhaka on November 17 at 5:30pm.”
“We all knew that they (Australian team) are coming today night (10:40pm on November 14) and we have completed all the preparations to receive them.”
“But today (yesterday) morning we received an email from FFA that they will fly with a special chartered Flight on November 16 and will land straight at the Shajalal International Airport and will leave Dhaka at midnight after playing the match in the evening.”
According to an agency report, the Socceroos were due to reach Singapore yesterday and they still there till their departure for Dhaka.
