‘Include local adaptation plan in NAP’

Participants at a workshop said people of Bangladesh have the capacity to adapt with different climatic conditions and so, the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) on climate change should include the experience of the locals.  Network on Climate Change in Bangladesh and CDP organised the press conference at the Dhaka Reporters Unity in the capital on Tuesday.  The speakers also explained their seven-point charter of demands for the national adaptation plan including the addition of local adaptation plans.  They also sought the inclusion of regions where the climate change impacts are more.
