Woman's body found in Ctg

Police recovered the body of a housewife from Mohammadia Housing under EPZ police station of the city yesterday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Nadira Begum, 25, wife of Al Amin, hailing from Habiganj district. Nadira, a garments worker, was living with her husband in a rented house in Mohammadia Housing area of the city. Police suspected that her husband might have killed her and left her body in the room around 11am yesterday, said Sub-Inspector Golam Kibria of EPZ police station. “The room was locked from outside and victim’s husband, Al Amin, is absconding following the incident, said the official. “Due to family dispute she might be killed, however, we are investigating the incident to find the reason behind the killing ” said SI Kibria. The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
