The mobile networks, which were blocked in frontier areas of the country for security reasons, have been restored on Tuesday night.
Zakir Hossain Khan, a senior assistant director at the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), told the news agency that the mobile networks in the border areas have been restored.
On December 29, the BTRC directed all the mobile operators of the country to keep their network coverage around one kilometer areas of Bangladesh- India border blocked until further notice for security reasons.
