10 hurt in Sylhet BCL infighting

At least 10 people were injured in a clash between two groups of Bangladesh Chattra League (BCL) at Beanibazar Government College over establishing supremacy on the campus yesterday. Quoting campus sources, police said Pallab and Pabel, BCL leaders of  Beanibazar upazila, had long been at loggerheads over establishing dominion on the college campus. A clash ensued between the two groups in the afternoon as they entered the college campus for taking its control.  At one stage, supporters of both groups, equipped with lethal weapons and firearms, attacked each other, leaving 10 people injured on both sides.
