Minor girl �raped� by stepfather

A minor girl was raped allegedly by her stepfather in Mugda area of the capital yesterday. The rapist was identified as Akbar Hossain, a cook of a local restaurant. The victim was admitted to the One Stop Crisis Centre of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said Inspector Mozammel Haque, in-charge of DMCH police camp. Local sources said Abkar raped his step-daughter yesterday in absence of her mother. When the victim cried for help, neighbours caught the rapist and beat him severely. He was later handed him over to police.
