Labourer �killed� in Ctg

Unidentified assailants killed a labourer and left the body on a road in front of the Dovash Bari of Monohor Khali of Phatharghata under Kowtali police station of the city. The victim was Rubel Das, 32, son of Ramkrishana Das, hailing from Banskhali upazila of the district. He used to work for breaking ice at Fishery Ghat of Chittagong. Police recovered the body around 7:30am yesterday. Being informed by the locals, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body from the area. Later, body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for an autopsy, said Sub-inspector Bikash Chnadra Shil of Kowtali police station. Police found injury marks on the body, he said, adding that police suspected that someone killed him at night and left the body there.
