Satkhira Medical College students postpone strike

Fifteen days after the enforcement to press home their demand for running indoor activities of full-fledged 500-bedded hospital, students of Satkhira Medical College yesterday postponed their indefinite strike until December 16, reports UNB. Convener of the movement Alamgir Hossain made the announcement following an assurance from Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan. He said they decided to put on hold the strike until December 16 as the minister assured them of meeting their demand.
