Anisul Islam made JP senior co-chairman

A day after the party's national council, Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman GM Quader yesterday appointed Barrister Anisul Islam Mahmud MP as the party's senior co-chairman and six other leaders as co-chairmen.

The new cochairmen of the party are ABM Ruhul Amin Hawlader, Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu, Kazi Feroz Rashid MP, Syed Abu Hossain Babla MP, Mujibul Haque Chunnu MP and Salma Islam MP.

Quader announced the names of the newly-elected senior co-chairman and the co-chairmen at a reception programme at Jatiya Party Chairman's Banani office.
