Customs intelligences yesterday seized around 64-kg of gold worth about Taka 32 crore from cargo section of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA). Solaiman Saif, assistant commissioner of the Customs House, told BSS that being informed, a team of custom intelligence conducted a search at the cargo section of the airport in the evening and seized the gold. The market price of the gold is estimated around Taka 32 crore, the customs official said. None was arrested in this regard.
