Idol vandalised in Munshiganj

Miscreants vandalised an idol of Hindu goddess Laxmi at a temple in Coatgah village in Sirajdijkhan upazila of the district early yesterday, reports UNB.
Nogen Das, president of the temple committee, said Mrs Momo, a resident of the village, noticed the vandalised Laxmi idol around 1am. Later, Nagen informed police about the incident panic engulfed the Hindu community of the locality following the incident.
