BNP activist found dead in Chuadanga

Police recovered the bullet-hit body of a missing BNP activist from a field at Bhulatiya village in Sadar upazila yesterday morning, reports UNB from Chuadanga. The deceased was identified as Rabiul Islam, 44, son of Abul Hossain of Noldanga village in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenidah district. He was accused in a case filed in connection with a clash.
Family sources said Rabiul remained missing since some miscreants picked him up indentifying themselves as DB police from Bishoykhali bazar area in Jhenidah district town on Tuesday while he was returning home after appearing before a court. A general diary was filed in this connection. Belayet Hossain, additional superintendent of police, said the local farmers found his bullet-hit in the field around 12pm and informed police.
