4 stalkers jailed

A mobile court in Jhenidah on Thursday sentenced four stalkers to jail for 15 days in connection with sexual harassment of Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinees at Benipur High School.
Officer-in-charge of Shailkupa police station MA Hashem said police arrested them from Benipur High School premises. They were teasing JSC girls.
Mobile Court Judge upazila nirbahi officer of Shailkupa and executive magistrate Rowshan Islam delivered the verdict.
The arrestees were Shamim Mollah, 19, of Nischintapur village, Shamrat Jowardar, 18, of Sreerampur village, Sohan Hossain, 19, of the same village under Trebeni union and Reza, 17, of Sherpur village in Shailkupa upazila of Jhenidah.
