Juba league leader hurt

A local Juba League leader was attacked and injured by unidentified criminals in front of Jhenidah Judge Court in town Thursday night.
Jannatul Ferdous Jony, 35, of Baparipara in Jhenidah town and a member of convening committee of district Juba League, sustained knife injuries in the attack.
Hasan Hafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of sadar police station, said a gang of unidentified criminals  attacked him in front of Judge Court area at about 7 pm.
On hearing screams, local people rushed to the place, rescued the victim  and admitted him to sadar hospital.
