One killed in road accident

An elderly man was killed and three others injured in a collision between a truck and a CNG run auto rickshaw in Sreepur upazila of the district yesterday. The deceased was identified as Botu Mia, 60. Local people said the accident occurred yesterday morning in Shohadia area on the Satkhamair-Barmi Road. Botu Mia was taken to Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared him dead, said Fateh Akram, residential medical officer of the hospital.
