‘Govt plans to preserve real memories of Liberation War’

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque yesterday said the government has taken a plan to preserve the real memories of the country’s Liberation War. “If the history of the Liberation War could be presented before the new generation by preserving its real history and indiscriminate memories to be found across the country, the history of the great war will be erased one day,” he said.

The Liberation War Affairs Minister was addressing a view-exchange meeting with local freedom fighters at Naogaon Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium.

Speaking as the chief guest, he said the anti-liberation forces will win and the country’s independence will fall flat if the true history of the 1971 war is erased. He said the government has planned to preserve the real history of the Liberation War.
