Two-day youth carnival kicks off today

A two day youth carnival, organised by Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center, kicks off today at Government College of Physical Education , Mohammadpur in the city. BYLC, a leadership institute, arranged it first youth carnival in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the NGO Affairs Bureau, said a press release.
Along with sessions, panel discussions, workshops and short talks featuring youth leaders of Bangladesh, the carnival will include various stalls and other activities that keep youth in the centre while progressing towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The two-day national carnival will focus on the development of the youth of Bangladesh through increasing their awareness in learning leadership and professional development skills for future career development and practicing active citizenship for strengthening prosperity, justice, and inclusiveness in societies, it said.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russel, founder and chairman of SBK Tech Ventures and SBK Foundation and former managing director of Microsoft Bangladesh Sonia Bashir Kabir, special assistant to PM Shah Ali Farhad, will join the carnival among others.
