They said though the proposed budget for the 2015-16 fiscal is rather voluminous, its implementation will establish the rule of law and ensure political stability in the country. AL joint general secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif said the government will try its best to implement the budget to implement its dream to place the country within the middle-income bracket by 2021 and the developed bracket by 2041. “We hope to implement the budget.”
Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD-Inu) general secretary Sharif Nurul Ambia said though the budget for
2015-16 happens to be
voluminous, its implementation will bring about the rule of law in the country.
The AL-led government has proposed such a big budget only to fulfil its dream to turn Bangladesh into a middle-income country from where it could aim to become a developed nation, he added.
