Akash Corporate Badminton title goes to Biman

Biman Bangladesh emerged team champions and  Hamid Group finished runners-up in the Akash Corporate Badminton Championship which ended at Officers’ Club court in the capital yesterday. Former national champion Kanika Rani Adhikari clinched the coveted women’s singles champion beating Samah of Hamid Group. The men’s singles title went to   Mohammed Minhaj of Europa Group whem he defeated Raisuddin of bKash in the final. 

Biman also bagged the women’s doubles crown with Ruhi and Nupur winning the final against Samah and Javeria of Hamid Group. Grameenphone’s Quamrul and Saleh annexed the men’s doubles crown beating Shamim and Nafi of Biman. Former national star Russel Kabir Sumon and Javeria of Hamid Group ran away with the mixed doubles title defeating Koushik and Kanika in the mixed doubles final.
