5 medicine shops fined in Ctg

A mobile court yesterday fined five medicines shops Tk 45,000 for selling government medicines, physician samples, unapproved foreign medicines. The court also seized huge amount of government medicines from the drugstores. The court led by Chittagong administrative magistrate and deputy revenue collector Ruhul Amin in drives in different parts of the city and seized huge amount of government medicines, doctor’s sample and unapproved foreign medicines. The court fined Tk10, 000 to Tuhin Pharmacy, Tk10,000 to D N Medico at Goalpara under Kowtali police station, Tk10,000 fined to Golap Pharmacy, Tk10,000 fined to Nusrat Pharmacy Hall and Tk5,000 fined to Shafi Pharmacy in Chawkbazar area of the city. He said many pharmacy owners fled from their pharmacies hearing about the drive. However, the drive will be continued, he added.
