Stop abusing children

I am your regular reader and letter contributor.

Nowadays, news of abusing children in several areas of the country is deeply worrying, and that aggrieves me greatly. Children are being tortured brutally, which goes beyond the sense of humanity. The prime duty of adults is to protect children from adversities and troubles. But instead of doing that, some imprudent people torture children both physically and mentally.

The children, some of whom work to help their families, are sometimes beaten cruelly and killed by their employers. This kind of primitive atrocity is no longer acceptable. Children are no where safe at all. Before torturing other children, people should think a lot about their own kids.

As civilised human beings, may our conscience wake us up. Let’s come together to ensure our dear country is a liveable place for the children. They are the future of humankind. So, our key duty is to nurture them properly for the sake of a good future.
