From December 16, China Southern Airlines will open Guangzhou/Wuhan - Rome, Guangzhou - Christchurch route. Tourists from Kunming, Yunnan Province can get to Rome or the "Garden City" – Christchurch via Wuhan or Guangzhou for a transit. During the Inaugural month, for a round-trip, Kunming - Guangzhou - Rome route will cost 2,000 yuan (excluding taxes) and Kunming - Guangzhou - Christchurch route will cost 3,200 yuan (excluding taxes). If passengers choose to transfer from Guangzhou, they can apply for round-trip tickets and check in their baggages to the final destination.
