Man ‘commits suicide’ in Khulna

A bank manager committed suicide by hanging himself after being insulted by his own son at West Baniyakhamar Bihar Colony in Khulna on Tuesday.

Achintha Kumar Haldar, SI of Shonadanga thana, said Sheikh Nur Mohammad had an argument  with his HSC examinee son Nur e Alam recently. At a point of the argument, the son misbehaved with his father and Nur Mohammad couldn’t take the insult.

Around 6 to 7 pm in the evening the bank manager hanged himself from the ceiling fan. Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Khulna Medical College Hospital morgue for postmortem.

The family didn’t file any case yet but the police has been taking preparation to file a suicide case.
