Man stabbed to death

Assailants stabbed to death a man and injured another at East Rampura in the capital around 8pm yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Md Hafiz, 25, while the injured was identified as Palash.
Palash, who is being treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said a group of 20 to 25 people led by one Shamim and Munna swooped on them and stabbed Hafiz dead.
Officer-in-Charge of Khilgaon Police Station Inspector Kazi Mainul Islam said they primarily suspected that the incident took place over assuming supremacy in Taltala area at Khilgaon.
