The High Court yesterday fixed November 16 for delivering its order on three separate petitions filed by BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir seeking bail in connection with three arson and vandalism cases.
After concluding final hearing on the rules issued by it earlier, the HC bench comprising Justice Md Rezaul Haque and Justice Md Khashruzzaman fixed the date for delivering its judgement on the petitions. On November 2, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court asked Mirza Fakhrul to surrender to a lower court turning down his bail petition seeking extension of the deadline for his surrender in connection with three cases.
