Four killed in road accident

Four people were killed and 20 others injured as a bus collided with a ‘laguna‘ human hauler on the Dhaka-Tangail highway at Charpara in Mirzapur upazila  yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Dilip, 48, driver of the laguna, Sajal, 22, of Suvalla village, Simul, 22,  and Haradhan Sarker, 32, of Mirzapur upazila of Tangail.
OC of Mirzapur police station Moin Uddin said the accident took place at about 1.30 pm when a North Bengal-bound bus from Dhaka crashed into a laguna in the area, leaving four passengers of the human hauler dead on the spot and 20 passengers of the bus injured.
The injured have been admitted to Kumuddini Medical College Hospital.
