5 aspirants file nominations

MOULAVIBAZAR: Five aspirants submitted nomination papers yesterday for upcoming by-election to Moulvibazar-3 constituency which fell vacant after the death of social welfare minister Syed Mohsin Ali on September 14, reports BSS.
They are former social welfare minister Syed Mohsin Ali’s spouse Syeda Saira Mohsin from Awami League, Syed Nurul Haq from Jatiya Party, Ashraf Hossain from BFN and independent candidates Mohammad Khurshed and Suhel Ahmed.
The nominations paper will be scrutinized on November 14 while last date for withdrawing candidature is November 22. Symbols will be allocated on November 23
