Prison guard �attacked� in Faridpur

An on-duty prison guard was reportedly injured in an attack by miscreants in front of Faridpur General Post Office in the town yesterday, reports UNB .
Witnesses said prison guard M Asaduzzaman along with his colleague M Zahid were passing the street in front of the post office riding a motorbike in the morning when unidentified miscreants intercepted them and stabbed Asaduzzaman with sharp weapon.
The miscreants left the spot hurriedly after the attack. The prison guard was carrying official documents at that time.
Later, the injured was taken to Faridpur General Hospital and released from there after first aid.
However, Faridpur jail super denied the allegation of the attack on the prison guard.
