One commits suicide

A man reportedly committed suicide after hacking his wife to death at Kakuchipara village in Shyamnagar upazila yesterday.
The deceased were identified as Mannan Gazi, 50, and his wife Sona Bibi, 35, of the village. Locals said the couple engaged in a brawl on Saturday evening.
Locals found the body of Sona Bibi lying at their house while that of Mannan hanging from a tree near the house on Sunday morning, said sub-inspector Ainuddin from the spot. Another reoprt adds from Rangpur: A young man, said to be a drug addict, tried to commit suicide after reportedly strangulating his pregnant wife and two children to death over a family feud at Kamalkasna Birbhadra in the city on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Asfia Akhter Ratna, 32, wife of Abdur Razzak,and their children Neha, 3, and Nishad,1.
A neighbour of Razzak entered his house around 11 am as he found it unusually calm since early morning and saw Asfia and her two children lying on their bed, said KaziMuttakiIbnuMinan, deputy commissioner (crime) of Rangpur Metropolitan Police.
