One held with huge fake notes in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: Chittagong Metropolitan Police arrested an alleged member of currency forgery gang with huge fake notes from city's Kazirhat area of Mohora under Chandgaon thana in the early yesterday, reports BSS.
Chandgaon thana police also seized a computer, printer, fake notes making ink and paper from his possession.
The arrestee was identified as Shorov Biswas, 25, hailed from Boalkhali upazila of the district. Police arrested Shorov from Kazirhat area of Mohora under Chandgaon thana around 1.30 am and recovered 1030 counterfeit notes of Tk 100 denomination each from his possession.
Police conducted a drive at his office at Charrangamatia area and recovered the fake notes of Tk 100 denomination and fake notes making instruments.
The arrestee in preliminary interrogation confessed that he had long been involved in collecting the counterfeit notes with his gang. A case was filed in this connection.
