Fire breaks out at spinning mill in Tongi

A fire broke out at a spinning mill of AnonTex Group at Tongi in Gazipur at around 4.15 pm yesterday. The fire erupted in the spinning mill under West Tongi Police Station and quickly spread out to the surrounding areas, said Manikuzzaman, Head of Tongi (Zone) Fire station. Being informed, a total of five firefighting units from Uttara and Tongi areas rushed to the spot and they are trying to douse the flame, he added. The origin of fire and the losses at the spinning mill could not be known immediately.
