Let go off the tail..!

“Sir!” shouted the fat bearded man running after the white bearded man, “Sir, we are losing Bihar!”
“How could we, I put you in charge, you always won everything for me!”
“You made a big mistake sir!”
“What was it?”
“You should have let go of the cow’s tail a long time back!”
“But there’s nothing left to hold on to?”
“I know sir, your development package hasn’t taken off, your industry wooing is going into a tail spin, there was only one thing left!”
“The cow’s tail?”
“And it doesn’t work anymore?”
“I’m afraid not sir, in fact one man on TV also said, that the person who holds the cow’s tail too long will gets dung all over him!”
“Arrest that man!”
“For what sir?”
“For speaking ill of the cow!”
“Maybe he’s right sir, looks like we‘ve got dung all over ourselves in Bihar, by holding onto its tail! And maybe sir, we should stop this arresting, lynching, bashing, killing business!”
“How else will people be afraid of us?”

The fat man with a beard and the white bearded man turned as they heard the sound of bells. They stared with disbelief as a thousand, nay a million cows came walking and stood before them.
“How wonderful!” said the man with a white beard, “They have come to thank me for saving them!”
“They don’t look like they have come to say thank you sir!” said the fat bearded man, “They look a little distressed to me!”
“Why should they be sad?” asked the man with a white beard, “I’m saving their lives!”
Suddenly the air was rent by a million moos by the cows standing in front, “Moo!” they cried, “Moo! Moo! Moo! Moo!”
“What’s their problem?” asked the man with the white beard, “What are they saying!”
“They are crying for food sir! Now that there are millions and millions of them, there is no food for them to eat, and after they stop giving milk, their masters stop looking after them!”
“Moo!” cried a cow, “Moo!” cried all the cows in the country, “Moo! Moo!” Moo!”
“Again they are saying something urgent!” said the man with a white beard, “What is it?”
“They want you to let go off their tale sir!” said the fat man with the with the beard, and as they saw the results from Bihar pouring in, they felt
the dung..!”
