Former-RHD chief engineer Firoz sued

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday filed a case against former Chief Engineer of Roads and Highways Department (RHD) Firoz Iqbal for accumulating wealth worth Tk 64.5 lakh illegally. ACC Deputy Director Shahin Ara Momtaj filed the case with its head office in the city. During investigation, the ACC found Tk 1.57 crore in bank accounts of Firoz and later he withdrew and transferred money from the accounts. He was accused of amassing wealth worth Tk 64.5 lakh illegally and laundering money.
