Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, left Dhaka for the United States of America (USA) yesterday on a 5-days long official visit. He was invited by the Commander of US Air Force Pacific Command. During his visit, the BAF chief will attend the ‘Pacific Air Chiefs Symposium (PACS 19)’ at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii, according to a press release issued by the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) yesterday.
He will take part in a series of panel discussions of the symposium where the theme is ‘A Collaborative Approach to Regional Security’.
Panel discussions will be arranged in the symposium on Regional Security, Domain Awareness, Multi-Domain Operation, Interoperability and Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief, the release added.
The air force chief will give his remarks on Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief.
According to the release, the Chief of Air Staff will call on Air Chiefs of Sri Lanka, Vietnam, India, Brunei, France and Indonesia to exchange views on different issues of bilateral interest.
