UIUs ACBSP accreditation, QS ranking success celebrated

United Group celebrated the achievement of United International Universitys (UIU) ACBSP accreditation achievement and success in QS Asia University ranking -2020 at a hotel in the capital recently, says a press release.
The event, followed by dinner, began with the welcome speech by Dr Abul HM Golam Azam, dean of School of Business and Economics, UIU.
Hasan Mahmud Raja, chairman of United Group, congratulated to all the members of UIU on achieving Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programmes (ACBSP) accreditation and being on the list of QS Asia ranking for successive two years. Moinuddin Hasan Rashid, managing director, United Group, Prof Dr Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman, vice-chancellor, UIU, Prof Dr Hasnan Ahmed, Pro-vice-Ccancellor, UIU, also spoke in the colourful celebration event.
RU to celebrate World Philosophy Day Dce 5

The World Philosophy Day-2019 will be observed at Rajshahi University (RU) on December 5 amid festivity on the campus. Chairman of Philosophy department Prof Shamima Akter confirmed the information on Saturday.
Marking the day, they chalked out different programmes, including rally and discussion meeting, he added. The rally will be brought out from in front of Momtazuddin arts faculty building at around 10am and parading different roads of the campus, they will hold discussion meeting at Senate Building. RU vice chancellor Prof M Abdus Sobhan will inaugurate the programme as chief guest while Pro-VC Prof Ananda Kuamar Saha and pro-vice chancellor Prof Chawdhury Md Zakaria will address the programme as special guests, she added.
IU publishes Fazil exams results

The results of Fazil (degree equivalent) second year examination of 2017 (irregular), third year examination of 2016 and 2017 and final year examination of 2016 (improvement) under the Islamic University (IU) were published on Wednesday.
AK Azad Lavlu, IU acting controller of examination handed over the results to IU pro vice-chancellor Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman. For further information, students are asked to visit the university website ww.iu.ac.bd for their results.
