One killed in Ctg road crash

A union parishad member was killed in a road accident in Boiltali area on Patiya bypass road here yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Quader Kayser,  a  member of Ward No 6 of Shovondandi Union.

Witnesses said a speedy of ‘Shyamoli Paribahan’ hit Abdul’s motorbike, leaving him dead on the spot around 3pm.

Borhan Uddin, officer-in-charge of Patiya Police Station and Kachuai Union Parishad Chairman Injamul Haque Jashim visited the spot.

Meanwhile, agitated locals blocked the bypass road for an hour.
