Two people, including widow of Faisal Arefin Dipon, yesterday testified before an anti-terror tribunal in the case lodged over murder of the publisher in 2016.
Dipon’s wife Dr Rajia Rahman and Aziz Super Market Shop Owners Association office assistant Anwar Hossain testified before the tribunal.
After their testimony, defence counsels cross examined them.
After end of the proceedings, Judge Mujibur Rahman of Anti-Terror Tribunal adjourned the hearing till December 10, tribunal clerk Ruhul Amin confirmed to BSS. The tribunal on October 13, framed charges against eight members of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) in the case.
The tribunal on March 19 accepted the charge sheet filed in the case and issued arrest warrants against fugitive accused ABT leaders sacked army major Syed Ziaul Haque and Akram Hossain.
